Regular Activities and Annual Events

Organisers of the following regular activities and events have asked for their contact details to be included below. They would welcome your enquiries. Please mention Ewell Hall and this website when making contact.

Adirah Wellness
I’m Mieke and I am the lead facilitator for Adirah Wellness. I hold regular sessions at Ewell Hall including Sound Baths, Cacao Ceremonies, Breathwork Sessions and more.

These spaces are dedicated to support those who attend in relaxation, healing and connection. They are for those seeking a space of calm, to escape from the fast pace of life and looking for a community of like minded individuals – why not try something new?

I regularly co-facilitate with other brilliant holistic health practitioners and we would love to welcome you along.

Whether you are a regular attendee or new to the world of wellbeing we welcome everyone with open arms.

Please keep your eye out on the hall calendar or via my Instagram page @adirah_wellness for upcoming events.
Epsom & Ewell History & Archaeology SocietyA local history, archaeology and conservation society for the Epsom and Ewell area of Surrey.

It was founded in 1960 by people who had recently taken part in a major excavation of Henry VIII’s Nonsuch Palace in Ewell.  Our aims are to encourage interest in the archaeology and history of the area and to ensure that local buildings and objects of historical significance are preserved. We produce a regular digital newsletter and publish papers on local history and archaeology topics. We occasionally arrange local walks or visits to places of historical interest and make representations on planning applications which threaten local listed buildings, conservation areas and sites of archaeological significance. We support documentary and archaeological research and organise test pitting/local archaeological excavations where appropriate.

Please come and give us a try – new members are welcome, whether you have a general interest or wish to get more involved. Visitors are welcome to meetings for a small £4 fee.

The times of  meetings – the Society meets on the first Wednesday of each month in Ewell Hall, London Road, Ewell KT17 2AY for illustrated talks on archaeological and historical subjects. Meetings begin at 8.00pm. Check website for details.

Phonics with Robot RegOur Phonics class for Preschoolers (ages 2 to 4) runs on Friday mornings during term time.

Each class includes games and activities that teach sound recognition, oral blending and segmenting, which are the necessary foundations for reading and writing. Our classes are high energy, set to plenty of fun music! There’s singing, dancing, a bubble machine and fun games all focused on the sound of the week.

Our classes also include activities to improve gross and fine motor skills which support a child’s handwriting. Classes are aimed at giving preschoolers a sound grounding in phonics, so they start school with confidence ready to learn.
